Injection moulding process involves heating the thermoplastic polymer pellets in a metal hopper till they become soft and flexible. Custom colouring for these plastic closures are added mostly at this point. The softened plastic is then injected under extremely controlled high pressure into a complex mould. The mould gives the desired shape to the softened polymer into the form of caps.
